Norwegian owned company, Imenco UK Ltd., who recently opened an office in Aberdeen, held an open day, at their new premises at The Enterprise Centre, Aberdeen Science and Energy Park, Bridge of Don, which was attended by existing and potential clients.
The reception was attended by Geir Egil Ostebovik, Imenco UK’s managing director, and Imenco AS group CEO. He was accompanied by Kjartan Vartdal, business development manager, and Anne Eline Bratland, specialist subsea sales engineer, all are based at the head office in Norway. The Aberdeen hosts were George Falconer and Stuart McConnell, who are responsible for the development and growth of the new Imenco UK base in Aberdeen.
Geir Egil commented: “The Aberdeen office and base for Imenco is part of the internationalisation of Imenco AS based in Haugesund Norway. We have our H/Q in Haugesund from the commercial, marketing, design, engineering and the manufacturing capabilities to offer full support to the various expansions of local offices through-out the subsea industry in which we are involved. We intend to move forward in Aberdeen with this initial office into a fully integrated UK operational unit covering all of our products, deepwater innovative engineering, subsea camera’s, subsea lighting, lasers, manipulators, ROV tooling, handling & lifting tooling, the helicopter refuelling systems, and full hyperbaric diving systems. Imenco AS has recently set up new sales and technical service offices in Houston, Texas, Bergen and Stavanger in Norway, further expansions into the Far East are underway.”
George Falconer, the Imenco UK Ltd., local manager concluded: “we are hitting the ground running in Aberdeen with the full Imenco product range, and the ability to service many of the existing Imenco customers, as well as giving our attention to the new customer base in Aberdeen and through-out the UK. The Imenco products are very well received within our industry, and this along with our capability to react quickly and positively to the customer’s requirement, we can offer the complete solution and system to meet the always changing challenges in our subsea industry.”
